Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m in private practice in both Tribeca and Brooklyn Heights. I received my BA from SUNY Stony Brook and my MSW from New York University. I received a post graduate certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from The Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. I have extensive experience in community based social work, HIV/AIDS mental healthcare, harm reduction psychotherapy, and palliative care.
I am committed to professional development and find it essential for my practice. Continuing to learn and read, keeps me engaged in my work. I participate in clinical supervision as well as attend conferences, lectures, and webinars often.
I grew up in the Hudson Valley and currently live in NYC with my husband and our dog. Traveling, all things culinary, and time in nature are amongst my most cherished activities.
I provide individual psychotherapy sessions to young adults, adults, and older adults.
I am a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator. This is an intervention that aims to help people
around issues connected to vulnerability, shame, and courage.
